When you can’t buy the right size air vent for your snare you make it. Period. 3/4” brass w/ gold-ish enamel pocket door pull converted to air vent.

Another video from the 373DrumCo. shop! Just a short one though showing my process for using and blending aniline dye stain on my drums. Peace!

It features a song from a band I used to play in with some really great friends, Perestroika! I played bass on the record, and my friend Nate who was in the other video demo(ing) the snare played drums on the record.

SHARE ME!

This is a SneakPeak video of the 373RumPum snare. This is 1 of 4 snares I will be launching come december. This was its maiden voyage into the hands of my trusted friend Nate. Thanks so much!

You can see only a glimpse, but the 373RailVent system is in place and is, I think, a special treat to most drummers who have never seen anything like it. It allows the player to adjust the amount of air venting across 4 equally spaced points on the snare.

The MOST important element is the SOUND followed by the feel. If you don’t like the sound then why learn the snare’s intended “feel”. I put all my 10 years of interest & love in designing the 4 snare drum that will launch 373DrumCo. and I hope that the balance and attention to the intended sound AND feel make an impression on you personally someday. Thanks for keeping up friends!

Peace!

A close up of the finish. 10 ply maple Keller shell. I will be pressing my own plys for the products for sale. 100% hand made folks… thats the goal.

Showing the transition from the matte sanded stain to antique oil finish. Still pretty matte, the way I want it.
